Some time later our Band was known as a Killer Band……. Not really funny… I hope they meant we were good..

Lots of Fights.. One Gig there was an incredibly beautiful girl Eye F’n our lead Singer for the first 2 Sets.. After the 2nd Set break the lead Vocalist disappeared!!! So did the Girl! I became the new lead Vocalist! Another time we were playing a small Redneck Town dive Bar called The Wreck.. Aptly named… We were Rockin!!!! People were Dancing & the Dance floor was packed! All of a sudden there was a commotion. We thought it was a fight on the Dance floor.. It wasn’t.. A guy had a Heart Attack in the middle of a Song & collapsed on the floor.. The Paramedics were called. They came & tried to revive him but it was too late… I have many more…. Playing in a Band is a weird vocation……

That’s great. You’re lucky…. I live in Palm Springs, Ca. a Tourist Destination for the World.. We get 100’s of thousands of Tourists a year from every Country, City & Town in the World.. They bring every Virus on the Planet with them.. Some of my kids have had Covid more than once, with & without the Vaccines.. Thank God they’re fine.. I have friends & family who have died from Covid. Some had the Vaccine.. Some didn’t. Doesn’t seem to make a difference. I had 2 Moderna’s & 1 Pfizer Booster.. I’m not getting the 4th.. Too controversial at this time.. I’ve had symptoms like long Covid for almost 2 years but I always test negative.. I’ve been tested almost weekly…

Some Professionals say they protect you & some say they protect others but not you…

I’m in the process of getting License to Carry a concealed Weapon.. A couple of my neighbors got theirs & are walking me thru the process..

Those Guys will listen to you but they’ll still only offer you Wholesale minus reconditioning cost.. It’s usually not more than 50% of what they’re selling for… That’s just how the business works.. But, it’s no hassle..

It will be years before they accumulate enough data to have any real knowledge the Side Effects & other ramifications caused by the Covid Vaccines.. Many People I know who have the most recent Booster.. #4 are really sick & in pain for days after taking that Shot..

I’ve had friends & family die from Covid. Not a laughing matter to me. After havin 2 Moderna & 1 Pfizer Booster I’m still here. But, I do not feel the same as I did before those Shots. I’ve had extreme Body ongoing body pain everywhere I’ve had injuries over the course of my life. My energy level has diminished. I’ve developed extreme chronic Cough, Allergy & Cold symptoms that Dr’s can’t figure out what they are or how to heal them.. They throw Rx Meds & Physical Therapy at it.. After 2 1/2 - 3 years it hasn’t gone away.. This Man made Virus is an Unknown.. Dr’s won’t discuss the possibility of my symptoms & condition being Side Effects from the Vaccine's.. They completely avoid that conversation.. I’m told it’s because it’s outside Medical doctrines they’ve taught & since it isn’t in the Flow Chart they avoid any conversation about it.. I honestly think it will take years to understand the ramifications of the Covid Vaccines…

I watched Tons of half hour Westerns… I recall a lot of them with Singing Cowboys.. like Gene & Roy…. It seemed like the only thing on TV for Boys when I was a kid.. Then we’d go outside & act out those westerns with our Cap Guns.. I did watch Popeye too…. Man that was a long time ago…..

I took a Guitar Class in College.. It was a Beginner class. I’d already been playing Guitar for a while but wanted to learn the formal way of playing.. The “Correct” way to play, Reading music etc.. During the break we’d all go out side. I’d play & sing some popular songs of the day that I knew… Some of the other Students would ask me how to do this or that… I’d tell them what little I knew.. After a couple weeks the Teacher asked me to stay after Class.. Based on my history I knew this probably wasn’t a good thing… He said, You play pretty good. I don’t know how you do it? But, that’s not what I’m teaching here.. If you challenge my Course I’ll give an “A”.. Just don’t come back.. So I did…. I’ve continued to be self taught ever since…..

Originally, I thought this Thread was pertaining to Electric Power usage for Alternate Energy devices like E Vehicles etc.. I made a comment about Calif. telling Customers to reduce usage… I had never heard of a CPAP.. My point was about reduced usage & the potential & caution re; blackouts…. If it’s an Epiphone Dot I’ve never heard of them having Gibson on the Headstock in 2002.. I’m not aware of Gibson building Gibson Dot ES335’s in Korea in 2002 either.. Not sure I’ve heard of either, ever..

I wasn’t aware they come with Straps? Mine didn’t…

I don’t take any one source as being Gold for anything… And, I hope for all of You.. Especially if the concern was possibly dying. If alternate thoughts & opinions aren’t welcomed you should close the Gibson Forum altogether…. I just want for people to pursue resources that will best help them.. If that’s a crime? I’m guilty…

My old 1959 Gibson ES345 Stereo had phenomenal sounding PAF’s.. I liked the Varitone. I also liked playing it Stereo thru 2 Amps! What amazing Guitars they were! Totally underrated!

I’ve owned a V for several years & really like it.. It takes some getting used to at first but I’m comfortable with it now.. I like being able to play so high up the Neck! The Mini Humbuckers have a totally unique Sound which I really like.. Steve Ford, yours looks amazing!

Being afraid of dying isn’t a health concern? OK, whatever? I’ll inquire about Guitars here.. If I fear of dying I’ll seek Medical advise from Medical Professionals… They are also aware of every kind of Medical Device & Machine & are quite capable of referring to the proper Sources…

I think I’ll call Gibson on Monday & inquire.. I’m sure it will be pricey.. I have about 10 Guitars I don’t play much & am thinking of selling.. Maybe…
