bassetman
Had to fill in for the regular guitar guy in my sons band....on about an hours notice. Seems he had a problem with an officer and is spending a week in the county hotel. Despite not having played a gig since '93 and never with an electric it worked out great. I'm still buzzing a day later. Seems the old guy ( I'm more than twice the age of the group) showed them some stuff. My Les Paul copy was really well received and my J45 did a set and sounded great for the more ballad like tunes. Have to do this more often. My left hand is a bit of a claw today but worth it. StRanger7032
Not bad work on an hour's notice! I just committed to my first gig since 1997, but that's all the way in April. I'm already stressing over it. If my last two practice sessions with the band are any indication, I'm sure I would have bombed horribly on an hour's notice. Nice job! bassetman
Fortunately a lot was "old" rock.....from my high school days. Avoiding too many drinks was the hard bit.
