Rabs Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 And you guys though the robot tuners were bad  😄   lol, its different, I will give them that. Â
merciful-evans Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 In action, it reminds me of a slot machine. 😉 Seems like its made for those who regard pickups as the main differentiator for guitar sound. Personally I think the guitar build/design is more significant, with pickups running 2nd. Not my sort of thing at all, but credit for innovation all the same.
Twang Gang Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Like many innovations from the past, it seems to work great. But it probably won't sell because we are all such die hard traditionalists.

merciful-evans Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 They could probably squeeze in more pickups if they used spring tensioned rotary system. Like an ammunition magazine. Put a motor on it and it would be like a Leslie speaker.Â
Dub-T-123 Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 One thing I wonder is how is the pickup switching achieved? Is only the pickup currently at the top connected, or are they always in circuit?  For sure the pot values have to be compromised between the ideal value for humbuckers and single coils.  In the video I don’t really notice a lot of amazing sounds. It’s kinda like a muddy single coil sound then he adds a ton of distortion every time he uses the humbucker
