I was poking around and for some reason this jazz box just kept calling my name and all the possibilities of a Charlie Christian floating pup was in its future.... Well my GAS just got the better part of me and I purchased it. I believe it's 1958 but who really knows.  Anywhoo enjoy the pics....

FYI: The last pic is a mockup I made in WORD to show what its going to look like once I get the Pup / pickguard assembly back from Pete of vintagevibeguitars.

I love those older Hofner big archtops.

The Presidents, Ambassadors, Commitees etc.

I think they started fitting trussrods in the late 50's. Has this one got one? I cant make it out from the pics.

No truss rod on this one.... It has a baseball bat for a neck.

It sounds surprisingly descent acoustically and projects nicely. Cant wait to get the CC pup on it. The people or person that owned this instrument took really good care of it over the years.
