merciful-evans Posted April 14, 2021 Share Posted April 14, 2021 I think I can make out a truss rod cover, so it cant be that ancient. If the pickup is original, that would confirm it. More pictures would help. Not seen a pickup mounted like that before. Other than that it resembles a L5. They had a 16" lower bout pre 1934. After that it was 17". Can you measure that Ryan? ksdaddy Posted April 14, 2021 Share Posted April 14, 2021 I’m going to guess it’s a late 40s to 1954 L-50 that someone added a pickup to. It can be narrowed down further by looking inside for black cloth strips on the rims and whether or not the profile of the headstock is tapered.
