Koa Roxy
Hi all --- just joining the Gibson Club. Just got a SJ-200 Koa Ltd with a Red Spruce top. What a great B-day gift from my wonderful husband !!!!! Have various guitars, but have to say that this is my favorite. Beautiful craftsmanship and finish. Plays like a dream and action is great. Here are a couple of photos --- front and back. I have given her a name --- Roxy as you can tell by my screen name.

macaibhistin
Wow! What a beautiful looking guitar. I almost bought a Koa Martin instead of the SWD I ended up buying. It had a wonderful tone as I remember. Can you describe the sound from you new Koa? Congrats!
Koa Roxy
Thanks everyone --- obviously very excited. Can't keep my hands off of her!!!!! The combination of the red spruce top and koa backs and sides give her a real big booming projection both plugged in and unplugged. Will see if I can find of way to post a cut from GarageBand.
