sparquelito Posted April 9, 2023 Share Posted April 9, 2023 Happy New Capo Day. I gave my favorite capo away a few weeks ago, to a good friend and his son who I have been giving lessons to. It was a Shubb, and I really loved the lightweight design. I got to looking around for a replacement, and what managed to jump up and bite me, I mean catch my eye, was this gator-style capo made by Alice. The model is A007G/BR. merciful-evans Posted April 9, 2023 Share Posted April 9, 2023 The capo is good, but I want to see more of that stand! and I want one just like it.  The singer in Blown Out made me a capo. He used some sort of sprung jig clamp with guitar neck shaped bits glued on. It works a treat. I was going to post a pic but I cant lay my hands on it! My underused studio is full of stuff and I can barely squeeze in there. I do have a Bill Russel capo which I've never used. It just applies too much tension. Called the company, and they said, "Okay. We'll ship you another one, this time with more sturdy packaging." They didn't even want the old broken one back.
