David Al Scott
The damaged Gibson guitar giveaway is evidently a scam . I supposedly won a guitar on a ad that is advertised all over the instagram app. I filled out the information I gave my debit card info and shipping charges were take out of my debit account and still have not received my guitar
merciful-evans
I hope those charges were not crazy high. I've not heard of the 'givaway' and never used instagram. Doubtless you're not the only one scammed here. I realise you are out to publicise this everywhere as a warning. Thank you on behalf of the forums here. Good luck from here on David

He went directly from getting scammed to going to a random site and punching in his full name any random place he could. I’m sure if he had to enter his credit card info to post here he would have

Not saying all or even most are scams, but don't click on links here that are supposedly guitar photos "because I couldn't upload them on here".
