cookieman15061
Man if you were alive during the early 70s these guys ruled the am radio. This song is relentless and kicks some serious behind.

stickman
I was alive back in the early 70's. Just a young kid but I remember "some kind of wonderful" on the radio day and night. "The Locomotion" was another and then "we're an american band". Nothing holds a candle to it today.

DanvillRob
I used to listen to Grand Funk when I was in the Army stationed in Chambersburg, PA. I was surprised to read some album cover notes where Grand Funk named my old band as one of their inspirations! (Peter Wheat & The Breadmen). To my knowledge, I never met any of the group, and there was no connection that I could think of.

Sailjunkie
Awesome band...best thing to come out of Flint, MI ever! Back in '75 Farner played a Gibson L5S...I've been obsessed with them ever since (unfortunately, if you can find one...they are, like, $4,000.00).... Shnate McDuanus
Grand Funk Railroad always gets me. They just make me feel special, you know? Like the world doesn't suck--probably just because they exist, but still.
65 Casino
I can still hear my Panasonic 8 Track with the 125wt. Jensens blaring these tunes out while I washed that '71 Caprice on a hot Saturday afternoon, knowing what was gonna happen on that hot Saturday night... The Caprice was Dad's but the rest was all mine! Great memories and many thanks for posting!
