anthonyc007
(Note: I posted this on The Other Forum, but I thought I would share it here, as well. In case some of you don't cross-pollunate). I just thought I'd share a few of my favorite guitar related websites. And maybe some of you can some more good ones to the list. For in-depth lessons and great song transcriptions, this is a great site: http://www.guitarnoise.com/ Need to name a chord? or find an inversion? Great place to start: http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/chord_name.php This one is good for that, as well. Has the ability to give chord names for alternate tunings: http://www.gootar.com/guitar/ For any part, tool or accessory you can imagine: http://www.stewmac.com/ Perhaps the most valuable website. Everything you ever needed to know about acoustic guitars: http://www.frets.com/FRETSPages/pagelist.html If you are reading this, then you probably have and computer and are afflicted with GAS. Go here for The Hunt: http://www.gbase.com/Stores/Gear/gearsearch.aspx For tab/chord search of several sites: http://www.911tabs.com/ Maybe the only tab site you ever need: http://dylanchords.info/ A handy online tuner: http://www.aptuner.com/cgi-bin/aptuner/apmain.html A handy online metronome: http://www.metronomeonline.com/

L5Larry
Here's a website I have been involved in for years. Kind of an all-in-one guitar players community. Forums, message boards, articles, how to's, music news, photo galleries, etc. Check it out, membership is free and guest are always welcome. http://www.stringdancer.net

Gilliangirl
Great list, Anthony. Here's two more that I frequent.... I'm sure everyone knows Chordie. The beauty of Chordie is you can transpose keys with the click of your mouse... www.chordie.com Be warned tho', like most chord sites, there's many that are just plain wrong. FP showed me this one..... www.countrytabs.com You have to be registered to use that one but there's a lot of material on there.
