LT ED
+100. everything in moderation. Gary is very good at his heavy metal blues but I do prefer him with it all backed of. Steve seems a little obsessed and it does feel a bit force fed around here. only my opinion.
NeoConMan
The gain. The thin/shrill tone. My only gripes. Well, that and playing with a veritable damned orchestra and calling it "blues" is lost on me. The guy is a smoking player. If he was in town, playing "stripped down" with only guitars and drums I'd go see him in person. If the tickets were cheap....

Shnate McDuanus
Gary's a very good player. He's one of those guys who catalogs licks, but at least he knows how to use them and manipulate them and what not. As for the high-gain tone? Well...you can't win 'em all. NeoConMan
Eric Burdon ... Animals ... Mike Nesmith ... Monkees ... I know. Just trying to get a rise outta our Brit members. All that pride of spawning the Beatles from Birmingham and all.... :-) The Monkees were, by all accounts, a horrible imitation contrived to cash in on Beatlemania. By Americans. The Brits hate us for it to this day.

S t e v e
You're kinda like the guy who cries Wolf. We're all getting conditioned to the fact that no matter what the title of your thread might be the substance of it is always gonna be more of your undying worship of Gary Moore. I must admit I'm one who rarely opens your threads because I know what I'm gonna see. You love Gary Moore. I get it. Good for you. "we're all" ? you speak for the whole of the gibby site?...go and boil your head. sorry guys just dug this up and didn't see this ***** reply

pippy
Who is this Gary Moore chap? For a while he was one of the backing guitarist on many of Thin Lizzy's records. Here he is pictured with Phil Lynott. (Gary is the one on the left.)
