Hey friends,

Just curious if you've seen the new Les Paul Studio 50s Tribute that was introduced on the website last night. Early comments have been flying in and mostly very positive, from look to price. Personally, I'm totally digging the gold top. Early indications are this thing is going to fly out the door.

Love to hear your thoughts. Here's the link:

I put a down payment on a "Gold Top" with my dealer, to guarantee I get one,

of the 2 they had ordered, prior to the flood. I can't wait! Since the earliest LP

Gold Top's didn't have neck binding, anyway...it does seem like a "tribute," to those.

I do wish they had body binding, but the "faux" binding is kinda cool, itself. I think it

will be a nice addition, to what I already own. And, a very welcome relief, from the

"normal" pricing, on Les Pauls Gold-Tops!

Sure wish Gibson would bring back the "Les Paul Deluxe" (Gold-Top, especially), at a

decent and reasonable price, too.

I think it's really awesome. What's the price on them going to be?

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw it on Gibson's home page...

...and that's a good thing. My only problem now is deciding between a SG Classic with P-90's or one of these new Lesters. Thanks a lot guys!
