Witmer
I'm thinking bone, if cut properly is still best, but I've never had anything else. I like my graph-tech saddles okay, but not sure that adding more graphite would be good for my tone.

pippy
I had a new bone nut put in a LP six months ago but I don't imagine Corian would really be worse as an option. It's supposedly more stable and stronger (less likely to break than bone) and has similar tonal characteristics. I've had to replace a bone nut which broke. I haven't heard of a Corian nut break yet - but they are still fairly new.

craigh
Eventually, I'll replace them all with bone nuts. Right now the olny guitar I have with a bone nut is a Goldtone lapsteel. Craig
