Big Norm
If you would have to choose one or two guitar solos that makes you turn on the volume of the radio louder and enjoy each note... What would it be ? In my case, the solo at the end of "goodbye stranger" from Supertramp blows me away.. and Jeff healey playing "while my guitar gently weeps" is not far behind... Let me know yours... Big Norm

Scuttlebutt
As a chap I'd have said EVH's Eruption (which caused me to buy my first guitar), but the one that stays with me is Voodoo Chile - Hendrix/SRV... you pick. They're both killer. PS: "Can't you read the sign? (No Stairway...)!"

gothsloth
I saw Mick Taylor play Little Red Rooster and totally tore the place down, seemed to go for about half an hour, it was mind blowing.
Schtang
mick taylor on "time waits for no one" . David Gilmour Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb" from the "Delicate Sound of Thunder Live" CD and Nils Lofgrens solo on "Youngstown" live on the Bruce Springsteen and E Street Bands DVD "Live in New York). But I do also agree on Mick taylor "Time waits for no one"(that progression along the A Natural Minor Scale - simple but beautifully executed) my favorite stone's song (2 great albums - Only Rock n Roll and Goats Head Soup). slayer2525
My vote is for EVH and "Hot for Teacher" In this solo he doesn't use any tricky stuff like Eurption. He just plays clean rock and roll. That and anything by Jimi Hendrix.
