RotcanX
If it's a newer Sheraton, it should have quick connectors for the pickups. You might even find something similar at a electronics parts store so that you can easily change back and forth... or else just splice the new pickups onto the old connectors. marcbc
Its a 98? what do you think will it have connectors?
dbirchett
Just a guess with the '98 but I wouldn't think so. Check out this thread: http://forums.epiphone.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=3336
poverty
when i swapped my pup's in my Dot, i didn't see any connectors, and it was an '06. I just used the cheat method, everyting worked out fine.
shartom
My 2007 Sheraton does not appear to have connectors either, unless they are very close to the pickups. They are visible on my Joe Pass down near the pots.
Ron G
Same here - my 2007 DW Dot Studio doesn't have any steenking connectors.
byrds1965
Same here - my 2007 DW Dot Studio doesn't have any steenking connectors. That's interesting as Epiphone made a big deal about them in one of their catalogs. Both my Casinos have them an 06, and 07 my rest are older so just the straight wires with out connectors. Dave
You'd think that a connector mod would be across the line if it were implemented. My 2005 LP doesn't have the connectors, FWIW.
ant7629
Just done this on my 2006 Dot, no connectors. It was simple enough, but there isn't much wire to play with from the old pups.
JRizZ
If you can't do it with the existing wires then it's not that hard to do it the conventional way - everything out through the F hole. It might take a bit longer, but it really shouldn't be that hard to do - especiall as you're not changing the pots or anything like that.
