Sgt. Death
I'd like to see an Epiphone version of the Angus Young Signature SG' date=' but I can't see that happening, unfortunately. Also, the new Gibson Florentine Les Paul with the Bigsby looks pretty awesome, maybe an Epiphone version of that would go down well.[/quote'] Which Angus SG? the one I've seen just looks like a 60's reissue with a bigbsy on it, and you could mock one of them up yourself. as long as you didn't actually want his signature on it and just wanted to play it. I've seen a photo of him playing a black one with lighting bolt fret markers, etc. That would be a worthwhile Angus Young Signature. Plus he is often seen off stage with a cream single p/up one, so why is his signature guitar one that doesn't actually seem to represent him? I agree with you, the Florentine Les Paul would be a good choice for Epiphone to do.
Sgt. Death
+1 on the Firebird ! I would like to see Epi take it a step further and build it to Elitist quality. I would also like to see an elitist quality Les Paul Junior with P-90s. How about a Prophecy series?
Sgt. Death
I think they should reissue the first version' date=' "LP double cut style", Gibson EB-0 bass. I think they at least should use that body design instead of the singelcut on The LP Special Bass. [img']http://perso.wanadoo.es/tallent/gear/pics/sale/BG1623.jpg[/img] This looks awesome, imagine an updated one, to the Les Paul bass standards, but a reissue would be very nice. Swoop
Have you ever checked out Ibanez' solid body Artist range? There's some beautiful one's from the late ' 70's' date=' and they've released them again recently, they might be closer to your price range and definately the right shape and materials' if you look hard enough.[/quote'] Well I have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom now, so no need to look at Ibanez anymore! I guess I should have mentioned that they're really only out of my price range when new, but I purcahsed a used one.
bigneil
I think Epi should make a few nighthawks. they are good to play and kinda ugly but cool whith that squint pickup. with a choice of pickups 2 or 3 single or double,. and a choice of fixed or floyd style bridge. or maybe a bc rich mockingbird copy.....or similar, with a through neck for more tone. The lines remind me of a classic car

Sasquatch
I would love if they made a 7 string version of the Emperor Regent. It would be great to play some low bass notes on that big hollowbody. Here's an Ibanez version:

clarkuss
That's cool. Was that THE Casino' date=' do you know, or a double? [/quote'] Hi Red, Didn't see your question until today. It was the actual casino. My dad tells a few anecdotes about it. Firstly, it was actually set up in Paul's dressing room before he arrived and my dad was shown into the room and it was there on a stand so he couldn't resist picking it up and giving it a little strum despite him not being left handed. Secondly, when my dad asked him if it was "the taxman" casino he said, "yup, that's m'baby" and jokingly said that it was worth a lot of money so be careful. Apparently it's in pretty pristine condition as well... Not too bashed about like a lot of other vintage guitars. And finally (from what I can remember) when they did the video shoot my dad was in the boat and Paul was in another boat next to him getting ready for the cameras to roll. He said, "if that boat capsizes, don't worry about lawrence, get the guitar!" He seems to be fond of his Casino and has mentioned it a lot in recent years regarding his recording preferences. Dad also said that he had an acoustic with him for strumming but my dad not being the guitar enthusiast as i am couldn't remember which one it was... but they played little willow together.
