uh-oh.... you have "G.A.S."!!!!! Call the DOC!

Been there - started with ONE, eventually had EIGHT,

sold off FIVE, now back up to SIX... (sigh...). I'm going

to sell off at least TWO, so I can get ANOTHER. Just swapping and

trading until I can assemble the group I want to keep...

Congrats on the DOT Studio! I keep looking at 'em, but

no local dealer has one to try out. :)

I had a horrible case of GAS today. I played a Wilshire a week ago and it's been bugging me ever since, it was a lot of fun to play. It was driving me nuts, and I already have enough credit card debt, so I tried to avoid thinking about it.

Of course I failed, and I went to the store, and they had 2 MORE Wilshires. I had already resigned to buying one so I sat there and played them for about 2 hours, and not a single one shocked me like it did last week. None of them sang like I remembered. I was supremely disappointed.

Luckily, I remembered that my beautiful new Vox AC4TV stack could use some reverb (my only effect, I can't deal with more than that), so I picked up a Holy Grail at a wicked nice discount!!

GAS cured, and everything sounds much better. I think for now a Gibson SG Classic P90 is a little out of my realm of realistic dreaming and so I'm safe from GAS for a little bit. That's going to be my next guitar though.

By the way, my heavily modded Casino thru a Vox AC4TV stack with a Holy Grail is phenomenal!!! The Casino will be finished tomorrow night, so you all will get pics of my expansive-sounding sparse setup. Maybe some audio soon, too :)

Soooooo heavy. Plus I can't afford it...

I LOVE the AC4TV. Amazing sounding, awesome looking...great low wattage option. I plugged one into a Peavy 4x12 (w/ G12H's) today at the store, and with attenuator off and the volume up to 10oclock I was rattling a keyboard across the room. Pretty awesome. I had some arpeggio-fixated kid walk over from his JCM and check it out, he nearly crapped himself when I told him it was 4 watts.

Speaking of GAS

Had 2 doctor appointments today, with an hour to kill in between, stupid me, went trolling in the nearest store...

[love]A Larrivee P-09 Parlor git.[blush]

MY heart went pitter pat, and it was over. [blush]

Such a little beastie, but what output. $999.00, just could not bring myself to ring up the sale, but the pain, the pain!

There must be a drug to correct this somewhere...

In the words of Nick Lowe - and so it goes and so its goes...

But don't lay it on me Bro - I would never recommend buying new guitars. My last two purchases - a 1960 Harmony Sovereign (dirt cheap) and 1932 National Duolian (not so dirt cheap).

Gang,

My quest for a Vox CC1 (1 -12") speaker has proven fruitless. The 2-12" cc2 is readily available, but since I'm an MS ridden weak turd, I need the CC1 12" model. Anyone know who has it in the USA.:-k

legs' date=' i hate to do this, but

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Inspired-by-John-Lennon-Casino-Hollowbody-Electric-Guitar?sku=581883#used

this is a natural and per defect produces no sound. more than 50% off . if you can handle a souldering gun you just saved some big bucks!!!

I nearly pulled the trigger on that last night - logged in and had it in my cart and at the payment page and all.

But I backed out after checking my bank balance - thankfully now it's sold already.

Must not buy guitars, must not buy guitars, must not buy guitars....
