saturn
That's great playing by Gary, no doubt. But IMO, it's totally out of context for that song.
badbluesplayer
Gary's a great high intensity soloist, but not so much of a pocket player. His blues playing needs more variation in volume and intensity and less repetition. And the shredding and physical playing really takes away from his ability to feel the music and vary the intensity of his playing. Him and Albert are pretty different guitarists in that respect. Albert plays maybe half the time during his solos, maybe less. Gary's always going at 100%. I love the guy's intensity. He can make the guitar really sing. But he only plays one way. That's why he isn't that great of a bluesman.
Silenced Fred
i just love his facial expressions! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6V48_CvbHP8 Moore is a wannabe Jack White! There I said it. He plays high gain blues stuff, but with less creativity than White. White doesn't remain restricted to the blues form, he branches out. PS "Annoying aint it"?
