Enough to make a grown man cry...

I wish we had a guitar store like that here. The "best" guitar I've ever seen being sold here is one of those signature telecasters for that guy from Marilyn Manson, which was for like 1200 USD. Bull$#%^. That's also one of the 4 brand name guitars that I've heard of being sold here. The other three are a squier bullet, a 5 string fender jazz bass and a pink fender acoustic guitar.

God, I hate it here. ](*,)

Sorry to hear that, I guess you'll need to come to the land of big guitar stores to cure that Jamaican GAS. :-&

Yellow tags are new guitars.

Green is likely used.

They have several colors representing one thing or another.

Used guitars are clearly marked as such, though most are hard to tell from new ones.

The pick posted by SB is the front half of the Gibson wall. Most of the Les Pauls are beyond that.

Right inside the front door is the PRS display.

I was being sarcastic bro. lol Referring to the "huge" discount sales GC has every couple months. But always on the lower end guitars. I'm sure this store has great deals though.

Yes, they do.

They really are a no B.S. dealer and their prices are always fair.

A couple years ago during the Christmas shopping season, our teenager was surfing the web and watching guitar prices closely. We were at Bizarre - where they only have one sale a year - and took note of the prices.

They mark EVERYTHING in the store down thru New Year's Eve.

For kicks, we went to two different GC's and could not believe the "sale" prices!

They had SALE!!!! banners everywhere, and the prices were higher. ALOT higher.

People were loading up on gear and whipping out the plastic, I couldn't believe it.

LP Studios were selling at Bizarre for just under a grand, at GC they were $1,299 without the factory hardshell case!

You know, the case it left the Gibson factory in....

That's a difference of 30% plus getting f-ed out of the case it was meant to be in.

Pathetic.

That's pure guitar porn right there...

Oh yeah, seventh picture down, the Jackson Surfcaster 12 string was the first electric guitar I played live in 2004 when I made a return to live performance after too many years away. Solidly built and a decent guitar, but i much prefer my Gordon Smith Gypsy I 12 string. It has a coil tapped single humbucker and is a double cutaway. Much easier to play than the Rickenbacker 330/12.

I was last in J.A. in October 2005 and didn't see one guitar shop. Madness! Especially when you consider the incredible pantheon of music crafted over the decades on the island AND the fact that Robert Nesta Marley himself played a Gibson Les Paul!! I'm getting an idea for my own business in Jamaica, folks...

Just to add more fuel to the fire, these pics are only about a third of the inventory. I'm standing about the middle of the store in these photos. The front of the store are floor to ceiling PA systems and drum kits, to my left (perspective from the first photo) are PRS, Epi, and a mixed bag of other Gibsons (V, Firebirds, Explorers etc). To the right are Ric 6 and 12 strings and a whole lot of Fenders. The back wall are basses and double-necks. And then there is the acoustic room. Nearly as long an area as this room, all four walls are packed with high quality non-electrics from floor to ceiling. And a couple of amps. If Bob doesn't have what you are looking for, just ask and he'll most likely be able to get it.

Hey Neo, does this accurately describe guitar nirvana?

Guitar nirvana indeed!

I've been in dozens of "nice" guitar shops in a dozen states, nothing else comes close....

This is what I've been tellin' yuz guys!

Nothing in LA, NYC, Chicago, Dallas, Austin or Houston compares. Haven't seen Saul in Sandy Eggo yet.

For sheer numbers of guitars, there's always the Ed Roman 3-ring circus in Las Vegas, but quality-wise?

No contest.

Not quite' date=' Thunder. I don't have an acoustic section. :P

Did you get the SG yet?[/quote']

No... they said 2 months last week... they do have two SGs ... a special in red and a standard in black, but I want the natural burst... best looking SG ever IMO.

I already oredered the tp-6 to go with her (I'm adicted to those damn tp-6 tailpieces) and they will have a set of schaller straplocks for me when she arrives (actually they are the ones fender sells, fender box and all hehehe).
