Rocky4
What are your favorite rock documentaries? I love Hype! the doc about how the Seattle grunge scene came to be and how the media blew it way out of proportion. I also love The Unheard Music about the L.A. punk band X. Beyond the Lighted Stage and It Might Get Loud were great to. Anybody got their faves?
Tman5293
Does "Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny" count? If so, that one takes the cake by far for me.

Shnate McDuanus
I liked The Kids Are Alright and Beyond the Lighted Stage. Woodstock was good too.
Dennis G
This is Spinal Tap. I know fake, but still fun to watch. In that vein, one has to also watch "The Commitments". Fiction, but a good watch none the less. And don't forget the half hour video from iTunes on the Traveling Wilbury's.

MojoRedFoot
This is Spinal Tap. I know fake, but still fun to watch. Does "A Mighty Wind" count? I also love "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey" and "Global Metal." Both done by Canadian film maker/anthropologist Sam Dunn. He also did "Flight 666." Daryl M
I forget the name of it, but there was one about the musicians that played on many of the Motown hits. That was really interesting.

Southpaw
Well I can't say that it's my favorite, but Hated: GG Allin and the Murder Junkies is one that I'll never forget. If you saw it, you'll definitely know what I mean.
