cookieman15061
After he left Procol Harum he had a solid solo career. I remember when this album was released and I woke up one morning to this playing on my stereo by our big FM station here in the Burgh. Fell in love with it right then and there. I searched and searched until I found out who this was. I know critics have ripped him a bit for sounding like Jimi but I like em both. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YI_glwKCOIo

surfpup
I'm a fan. And I never thought sounding like Jimi was a bad thing. In fact, I'd be happy if more people sounded like Jimi!
damian
I don't think he sounds like Hendrix all that much...He's great...You do know there's a DVD concert of his out from 2008ish ??? Did you know he never practices ?

Californiaman
He's touring again. I'm going to see him in Ventura in February. I saw Trower there two years ago. Stood right in front of him, front row. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uj3nwpCfZOA

cookieman15061
To me Robin always has the most amazing touch and tone..... Yes but rarely included on most best of list. Funny how some are just overlooked. His playing with Procol Harum was great too especially Whiskey Train.
