SHO Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 I've said it before on this forum but I'll say it again. I started to lose interest in Maiden after they got rid of Paul DiAnno. The Blaze years did nothing to change that trend, to put it kindly. 30 years later, those first two albums are the only ones I still enjoy as much as I once did. But I'm weird. It took me a long, long time to get used to Bruce Dickinson but I am always more interested in the instrumental part than the vocals anyway. I like Number of the Beast and Piece of Mind pretty well. But Iron Maiden and Killers are the ones I reach for most often!
