Recommended Posts

Hey guys! I joined the forum a month or so ago, but I finally got some free time, so I'm gonna start posting some pictures of my guitars! I don't have much time today, so I'll start my with baby, my LP Studio Deluxe.

Pics were just taken with my iPhone4... I'll take some with my actual camera later and post them too.

ajzwart, if that's a DSLR, try changing the ISO sensitivity to a lower number, maybe somewhere around 200-400.

High ISO Senisitivity is good for capturing images in low light.

Low ISO sensitivity is good for capturing a well lit subject. Your subject is fairly well lit.

When you use a high ISO setting for a well lit subject, the picture will tend to be "grainy". That's what the pics above look like to me.

Either that or you're using an automatic camera and it didn't read the room lighting very well. In that case, try adding some more natural or artificial lighting. The best guitar photos I've seen posted here were taken outdoors or near an open window during daytime ....

Why do you find it necessary to criticize everyone?

It seems the vast majority of your posts are about telling people what to do.

The pics are fine for a cell phone.

LET THEM DO WHAT THEY WANT AND LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW nice guitar ajzwart.

I'm really not sure if ogling guitar porn is the best or worst thing about inhabiting these parts.

Wonderful guitar ajzwart, I'm particularly fond of transparent cherry as a colour, looking forward to your camera pics and the rest of your collection too.

I'm also a big fan of that trans-cherry ... great looking guitar, AJ!

You keep posting that guitar-porn, buddy ... we can take it! [unsure]

Got anymore of those Epiphone logos? That woodpecker one would make a good t-shirt iron on.

holy sh*t SHUT THE EFF UP SG LUDWIG, I was just trying to be helpful, the last comment was about how he though the pictures looked pixelated

I'll make ye images smaller next time tho, so they don't pixelate as much :/
so I was trying to help get a better picture. I didn't see the comment about the iPhone because it's split in half by the pictures.

So who are you, the forum police? As one of your little buddies asked, "Who died and made you God?"

Almost everyone else writes dates as dd/mm/yy, but you guys in the US like to be different and use mm/dd/yy, totally illogical to me .

Wow, I had no idea!

I think the reason for that Rob is that one says, " April, 1, 2011". So that's the way it's written.

And yeah, everybody in the U.S does it that way. I did not know the rest of the world did it differently.

I learned something new. :)
