I've been wanting one since 79, but I have yet to play one that feels right to me. Check out my tele in the post my new baby. I hate the Maple ( I think ) Fret Board so I ordered a Rosewood fret board. its not a custom just a different style much softer tone and suits my sausage fingers Actually its in my Avatar too. Ive never been to the Fender Forum or any other for that matter. The only reason I keep the Tele it is great to just have that Single coil in your arsenal. Besides Crossroads the movie with Ralph Macchio was my main inspiration for playing guitar. As a kid I dreamt of finding a Fender/gibson in a pawn shop for $50.00 sadly never happened. As far as moderator for Steve. I say no only cos hes never posted on one of my threads lol Just kidding but I do think the Forum works fine with the MOD's it has.The old adage too many cooks and all that .....
