Freekzilla
I want to replace the pup surrounds, pickguard, jackplate and toggle switch plate on my Epi Les Paul, will Gibson parts fit or should I check out other manufactuers?

brad1
I would look on ebay. No, for the most part, Gibson parts do not fit Epis. I don't know about pup rings though.

Gary Moore Tribute
I use this Ebay seller for epiphone parts (Based in Hong Kong) http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/goodbuy711/m.html?_nkw=epiphone&_sacat=0&_odkw=epiphone&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313 I've bought covers, pups and more from him and had not a single issue! Their all genuine parts and fitted my Epi Les Pauls perfectly (As the epi shapes are unique, normal standard parts don't fit)

Freekzilla
I'd have a look around here. http://www.guitarfetish.com/ Very disappointed with what I received from them. I ordered black back plates and a toggle switch surround. Well one plate was flat black and the other was textured and the toggle surround lettering was horrible. I will not purchase anything from there ever again.

Whitmore Willy
Very disappointed with what I received from them. I normally avoid this topic like the plague. As soon as I say shop here, you will end up with their only screw up since the beginning of time! How much of a hurry are you in? bezdez on the bay has pickup mounting rings that are exact replacements for Epis. By now you know that Gibson parts are imperial and Epi are metric. When he started, shipping was $9 to US and you got it in a week. Well boarder greed has taken over. At $2 per pickup mounting ring his prices are still great. He combines delivery and is easy to work with. Shipping is now $5 but delivery across the boarder can take a month. Before you could get same week for $9. That service is now almost $30. So, as I said....If you are not in a hurry: http://stores.ebay.com/bezdez/GUITAR-PARTS-/_i.html?_nkw=pickup+mounting+rings&submit=Search&_fsub=2879465&_sid=11557664 Most other things I get from Guitarelectronics or Hoagland Brothers. Willy P.S. For our Canadian Bros. bezdez is Great depending on what you want!
brad1
I've gotten pups, nuts, knobs, tuners and a bunch of other stuff from GF in the past. I have never been disappointed. Guitar Fetish IS one of the least expensive and best.

As you can see from the posts above many forum members use GF often and are very happy with them, I would never have recommended them otherwise. pokechop
If i'm not mistaken I purcased a Gibson pickguard for one of my epi's and had to do some minor trim work to make it fit.

Freekzilla
Im glad to hear everyone else had good experiences with them but one just ruins it for me. Oh well, no big deal. Let me ask this: I just want black back plates now that will fit my 06 Epi Les Paul, has anyone bought some and where can I get them?
