Anne, how big is the stocking? [biggrin]

That sure would be a nice stocking stuffer!

Why, I'm knitting a stocking of sufficient proportion as we speak! (Need my address?? [tongue] I'll get you the backlit Korg tuner, and we'll call it even... )

Did you listen to the audio? Man, is that perfect or what?

(I should add that 1957 was a very good year to be born in, too.[scared] )

It definitely has a beautiful honey-sweet sound! I missed '57 by one year, but '58 was good too! I'll settle for a '58!! [biggrin]

If one is on a budget or children with sparse funds want to buy a guit tar player a gift, why not a package or a couple of his/her favorite picks. Think of the pride the youngster will have when Daddy / Mommy start using their brand new pick.

I get my diamond dust nail files at the dollar store. Last I bought, I got 4 for a dollar.

A Pick holder.

For those who finger pick, how about a nail buffer. Those aren't too expensive.

Fleece dusting cloths. Those can be had for 2 for a dollar.

Since we are 'wishing and settling for'.....I would like a '53... It could also be given on the 11th as a Bday present and Santa would not have to struggle to get it into my stocking... [lol]

Just curious [confused] Would the bridge on a '53 SJ be "belly-up" or "belly down"... [scared] ...Rod

Those things give me the willies. I envision someone puting that on a Milwaukee 3/8" high speed hand drill, then while tuning the low E string, peeling the bridge off. If I did it all day long, I'd get one and chuck it into one of those slow speed cordless screw drivers.
