  1. There is supposed to be in Arizona a Sonoran Dog. I've never had one. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonoran_hot_dog
  2. Don't forget the Disney in hot and humid Orlando, actually I think its in Kissimmee, FLA. That must be a joy of a job at minimum wage in July and August.
  3. I didn't hear his point because he had it on mute.
  4. I think Gibson has always used nitro.
  5. I have asked before but no one answers. How many of you buy a new car, take it home and kick the doors with steel toed boots on. I'll bet none of you. So why do you want that done to your guitar? Yet some, and clowns was a bad choice of words (but I'm ex-military and been called worse in person), will gladly pay extra to have their "New" guitar look fake aged. Pay extra for it, that's what gets me, and not just a few hundred or so. How about a few thousand. Yep, thousand, I typed it right. Steve break out the belt sander we got some new guitars to age. And grab the icepick and bag full of pennies. This one is gonna be special. I just looked and a Martin D-28 aged is $7999, and a brand new one is $3199. That is just, I don't have words for it. That someone will pay $4800 more for I guess the honor or owning it. That's money for a whole new other guitar and then some, or two used ones. But its your cash. I can't say what Gibson will be charging for it when they start (and you know they will), but if its anywhere near Martin's price you guys better be ready for Gibson the exceed it due to the name Murphy.
  6. They might, we will never know. My brother and sister in law both worked at Disney during college, but they didn't wear the costumes, so asking them is pointless.
  7. Not true - your fat butt makes you look fat. When our wives and girlfriends ask us that question, we know what the right answer is, and its not the one I gave to KB.
  8. They are just guitar forums, and I have been on this one since about 2013, and enjoy conversing with the people I've become and I hate using the term "friends" with cause I have never met any of them, ya know like all your Farcebook Friends. I have owned a heap ton of Gibson's (if 20 or so is considered a heap ton). So the old "He doesn't own a Gibson, so he shouldn't be able to post here" is a crock. Wait I've got it your one of the guys who is a lawyer or dentist or doctor who can afford a 7k Cat Stevens Guitar? The funny thing is one guy said it was actually a "steal", as it will go up in price in the used market. I even went back and looked at the post, so I didn't put words in to his mouth as to what the posted. That logic makes no sense. Its over priced now, and will be even more stupidly overpriced once the greedy mob starts flipping them for 10k. Martin does dumb s-hit too. Like fake aging guitars (looks like Gibson is going to start soon, and I can't believe they are just getting around to it now) that no one believes is a real 1937 D-28. Hey why does your 1937 Martin have a 2019 serial number? D-45's are north of 10k now I believe. That's just beyond stupid and overpriced especially in this current world we live in.
  9. Gibson has, and I said this the other day, 4 acoustic guitars under 2k. F O U R. And of those 4 all of them have 2 holes in them and I have seen and played the G-45 on two occasions. They look like awful Mex. Martins and sound twice as bad. You tell me this is the guitar company of the working musician. I'm not here because I feel I have no self worth or I feel my life is a mess. Some of the stuff you guys spew here about Gibson is ridiculous. I've seen guitars that have serious QA issues here, and al the time all I see in posts is "I would keep that". Well good to know you accept sub standard workmanship on an istrument that can cost thousands of dollars.
  10. When I am super lazy and that is most time, I boil the dogs with the mac. We have all done the slice of bread trick in desperate times.
  11. We can't do good fish n' chips over here so . . . take what you can get.
  12. So on the SJ's and J-45's Gibson says the scale is 24.75", so why do you doubt them. They made the guitars. No matter what it looks like on paper, or in person, and if you need to get out a ruler and measure.
  13. When you are at Disneyland, and you get your picture taken with Mickey Mouse, does the person inside the costume smile for the photo?
  14. Damn I'm good. Actually S L Chili is quite good, its just different that what most think chili is. I've had it with the onions, cheese, and spaghetti.
  15. Aliens love anal, why else would they come 100's of 1000's of light years just to give people rectal exams. B7023 communicating with D09347, why is it every time we do an exam on a human there is brown stuff in there exam hole?
  16. I was onboard till the Slyline Chili. Your location says Blue Grass state, so you must be in Kentucky by Cincy.
  17. One bridge is bigger than the other, and it makes it look like the scale would be different, but they are not. You guys obsess about such petty things. Does your guitar sound good. If "Yes" play it. If "No" then return it. On some of my Martin's some have the bridge pins parallel to the saddle, and on others they do not. Why, I don't care its how Martin made them. Does they sound good? Yes and I play them.
  18. For what T I charges for strings they better last.
  19. Why does one man need 66 plastic back guitars? I had one in the 80's and I hated it.
  20. The 5 food groups are, beer, scotch, cheese, chocolate and bread.
  21. I live next to a guy from Wisconsin and he showed me how to do Bratz right. Ain't no good sourdough except in the Bay Area. I love sourdough and grew up there. And whenever I have sourdough that is not from the Bay Area its decent, but can't compare.
  22. It was going okay until the one guy mentioned the shooting and the Orange Messiah. That does it every time. Congrats in 51 days.
  23. That's called fusion cooking - a Empanada Dog is Spanmerican.
