  1. I dont see any reason for that not to be original. Rules of thumb for Gibson classicals the higher the number the more ornate. look at reverb or gbase to get a value of what they sell for . A library or guitar store for a gruhn guitar pocket book A wealth of info
  2. No truss rod. , no cover, the back of the headstock looks wrong. Actually it all looks wrong.
  3. See if you can talk to a gibson dealer and see if they can get the ball rolling for you. maybe work with the dealer. Im not sure where your at. But up here , if the item was bought through a gibson dealer. They have to go through channels to get it moving along. us customers really dont have anyone to talk to at Gibson , Gibson is in the market for mass production and selling there wares .
  4. Kind of difficult to give a answer without pictures to see what were dealing with. take it to a luthier to get a proper answer to your question. Then you can decide if its worth cleaning up
  5. Serial numbers change over the years. Woods change from one guitar to the next. And label may have not been on every guitar through the years
  6. https://reverb.com/ca/item/62272292-1966-gibson-c-4-vintage-original-classical-nylon-folk-acoustic-guitar-natural-maple-back-sides-spruce-top-nice
  7. the higher the number, the better the quality. 1st time for me seeing a C4. Really Nice. I owned a C6 Not for very long though. Traded it for a 61 D28
  8. First thing that came to mind was the plaque shadow. Regal had the same design. As KS said kay, Harmony .
  9. All Gibsons are Hand made Custom shop guitars. 😬
  10. Nice set. I seen a set like yours in Kennewick Washington. Sitting in a display case. It had a nfs tag on both.
  11. I bet a $50k plus guitar. Not a fan. Nice koa though
  12. The inlay work on his site is pretty cool.
  13. Ya. Its not nice looking at all. I own a few D45s, as they are , there nice guitars. But thats all. That Leach version is ugly. And not sure why its so expensive. Who is Leach any ways?
  14. I still have the SJ200. It wont be going anywhere. So when I can figure out how to delete a few then I can post a few.
  15. If your refering to the shark teeth. Yes. Bozeman did those. All mine from the 90s have those.
  16. Yes. 25 1/2” like the j200 or advanced jumbo Some are 24. 3/4. Like the j45
  17. I would like to see 60f here. -22 this morning though.
  18. The 90s ones didnt have a pickup. I think all the Newer models do. Unless there historic reissues of certain models.
  19. Ya. Keep it sealed for at least 12 hours. A warm box or case does not mean much . I bought a sj200 2 years ago from eastern Canada. +5c. , had it shipped to Alberta. , here it was -20c I left it in the box for 4 hours. Being anxious, I opened up the box and case. They were warm to the touch. The guitar nitro cracked everywhere. Im not sure why Gibson had to use so much product. The clear looked like cracked glass everywhere.
  20. You may have to find a older year for a ebony board. I dont think they offer ebony on to much anymore. Richlite maybe
  21. Looks like a A50 bound back. Does the case have red stitching? 1500 to 2000 from what I see in retail stores
  22. How does one delete photo attachments to revive the quota allowed? And why is there a limit for thumbnails?
