  1. Nice. They were Making J200 elites back in the 90s with abalone Markers and so on. Yours appears to have the Rosewood back and sides as well.
  2. Why not play those.. there ment to be played.. Ive seen a few already that have been abused. cracked from drying out.. placed in spots where either being stepped on or sat on.
  3. That 67 SJ I bought has the skinny neck. Not use to those at all.
  4. I own a Few. I missed out on a skull cross bones J200 last week. It looked like it was a off run of The Johnny Depp Pirates of the Caribbean J200.

    Pawn Shops

I just bought a 67 Southern Jumbo from a pawn shop 2 weeks ago. 900 bucks.
  7. Skinny neck , dont pay attention to the measurements. . I was working today not paying any thought to what I had typed. Sorry guys.
  8. Its either a 1 1/2 Wide nut or a 1 3/4 nut. Narrow nut is 67 68 69 era. My 67 SJ has the skinny nut. Most B25s had the skinny nut. 63 4 5 had a wide nut
  9. Luthiers choice AJs were second grade Brazilian .
  10. I had two of those. Sold one about 10 years ago. It put a big chuck of change towards my Mortgage. I have reissues of these from the 90s. All which are the Custom shop era Walker/Ferguson guitars. I prefer those over any of the New ones. Try to source out a Brazilian. There out there.
  11. the 60s guitars were the worst for serial numbers. So inconsistent. But now you look for changes in pickguard change, bridge change, logos if they had a dot or not. nut width, even neck appearance, if they had a 4 piece including ears or 5 piece with the center stripe .
  12. Its a 1962. Gibson stopped making the LG2 in 62. The B25 I believe was in its place after that.
  13. a J45 standard is a J45 standard. Label print change or a truss rod cover print. Could be the shade of the burst.
  14. Money difference. TV is without pickup and white button kluson tuners A standard 45 has a pickup different tuners.
  15. We have labels on Gibson j45s that have Mapleburst. Its a marketing deal.
  16. Its a Marketing Gibson thing.
  17. Like I own many Burst colored guitars? I also own a Starburst Gibson? to your question its a short form of saying sunburst.

Search for a 1990s Hummingbird . Like the era of 1990 to 1995. There close to the original Hummingbirds Not the narrow nut one either. Not sure why they had those. btw , the true vintage series guitars are pretty much the same as the 90s , same features.
  20. These guys are good. They know there Guitars.
  21. To be honest its not uncommon to see this. And it would be well worth getting replaced. There are brazilian blanks that can be bought and shaped for a new bridge. Looks like the plate could use replacing as well. Nick ,I have not owned many J50s or 45s from the 50s and the ones I had didnt last long here to pay close attention too. Thanks for the info.
  22. Last year for the non adj saddle . First year for the large guard. If Im not mistakin.
