Call Bigsby & ask if it’s the same as the B7 just has the included Epiphone name.. Bigsby does it for Gretsch too.. If it is just get a Gold B7!

Looks great with Gold Hardware.. I’d put a Gold Bigsby on it too… Man that would Pop!

Mixes sound different on different Speakers… Mixes can sound great in your Studio & not sound great in your Car or Home Stereo system… There can be many reasons why your Mix isn’t translating on a different Set of Speakers.. Could be as mentioned previously in the above Posts, the Speakers, the Mix or a number of other things.. Could be the Speakers? Could be the Mix. Does the Mix sound good in your Car & on other Peoples Stereo Systems? Was the Mix done in an Acoustically treated Room? Did you Mix on 2-3 different types of Monitors? If your Mix sounds good in the Studio on Flat Nearfield Studio Monitors, good Home Stereo Speakers & a set of cheap Car type Speakers, your Computers speakers & Headphones it should sound good just about everywhere. 865th Engr. Detachment - Chemical Gas Production Specialist - Medical Oxygen & Welding Oxygen & Acetylene… for 3 months til our WWII Gas Generating Plants broke down & no Parts were available…. I was transferred to the Motor Pool & was assigned to drive a Diesel Fuel Truck.. I delivered Diesel Fuel from Qui Nhon to the Cha Rang Valley & surrounding ROK, USAF, Army Units & smaller Army Camps… Fuel Trucks weren’t allowed in any type of Convoy.. I always travelled alone with an M-14 & an M-79 Grenade Launcher… On my 10th month after R&R to Sydney, Aus. I was reassigned again & became a Permanent Guard for my remaining tour… Either Guarding captured VC enroute to POW Camps or sitting in Towers Guarding Supply & Oil Depots all night long…. Christmas Day 1967 - Dec. 1968…. Thank you for your Service…

I buy there & have had good experiences... Several of my friends Sell there. There are all kinds of stories… Good & Bad… Then the Fees & most of all the Shipping hassle & expensive cost.. Especially if you don’t have Boxes & Padding… Reverb would be my next resort.. I just want to give this a try & see how it works out… I’ll advertise on CL & meet them at the Guitar Shop.. I’ve never understood the term, Happy Veterans Day. I am a Vietnam Veteran. There was nothing happy about being in a War Zone.. All Veterans with Disabilities are not Homeless & Poverty stricken… Some actually struggled with their Disability all their working years & worked their asses off just as hard at their Civilian job as they did serving their Country in times of War…. To say they didn’t earn their VA Compensation is an insult to Veterans of Foreign Wars.. It makes no difference if they drive a Beat up Ford or a shiny new Lexus… If you have a beef against the Government giving out undeserved Compensation you should be looking at all the Forms of Welfare, the, so called, free Stimulus Money the Govt is sending out or $1,000,000.00 they want to give People who broke our Laws & illegally entered our Country…

I took my Ric 360 12 String in for a minor repair to the Shop my Luthier recommended.. He does repairs on my Luthiers personal Collection of Guitars.. He’s too busy with his business building Custom Guitars & his Band to work on his own let alone mine anymore…. He remembered my Ric 12 string from doing a Re-String job on it a few years ago… I hate changing Strings on that Guitar… He’s been the Tech at our local GC for the past 8-9 years.. Then I remembered him… Now he’s gone out on his own….. Anyhow, it was a good day! The repair was pretty straight forward, inexpensive and he did while I waited. One of my Band mates came along to meet him & see the Shop. He was a nice Guy & we talked about Guitars, Music & Bands for a while. We seemed to hit it off so I asked him if he would be open to my meeting potential Buyers to sell my Guitars & Amps in his Shop & I would pay him his standard consignment fee.. He was totally open to it.. He even requested I make him a List & he would call me to set appointments to bring in my Gear & meet with potential Buyers.. He was even willing to assist with Selling… We arrived at a deal & I’m going forward with it…..

in my opinion ,,if it matters any ,,,i had an es 137 with the 490r & 490t in it & i think they are a really hot sounding pickup,,totally love them ,,,i now have a lespaul with the 57's in it & in my opinion i wish it had the 490's in it ,,honestly i think the 490's are hard to beat ,,again its just my opinion ,but everyone has theyre own preferences ,,,,,,,490's are hard to beat !!!!!!!!!!! :),,in my sg classic it has the p90's ,,now in that guitar ,,i love the p90's sounds I have an LP Std Plus with 490’s, an ES LP with MHS & an ES335 with 57’s.. I like the 490’s best of the 3… The 57’s come in 3rd… That said, my LP Special with P90’s is hard to beat…..

Then you haven’t seen Guitars in Stores that people Knick, Scratch, Ding, rob Knobs & other Parts off of…. Stores who consign allow you to do so totally at your risk.. No Thanks.. My Guitars are too Nice… Guess I’ll find out tomorrow.. There’s no harm in asking.. Especially if I’m spending money with him to work on my Guitars…

I would be happy to give the same Consignment fee.. He’s offering a Service & deserves to be paid.. My Guitars are too nice to Consign… I’d handle everything from Advertising to setting Appointments during regular business hours to meet with Buyers, do all the Selling & collect Money of which I’d pay the standard consignment fee.. Any additional Mods or ? He’d get first shot at the work. Potentially even more money for him…

Most of my Guitars are higher end. Gibson, Gretsch, Fender, Martin & Rickenbacker. I was thinking it might be of interest since there’s a Fee involved for him. With all Sales As Is. But, what you say makes sense…

I’ve been referred by my Luthier friend to a Guy who does Guitar repairs & has a little Shop.. My friend owns 111 Guitars & is so busy building one off Custom Guitars he no longer has time to do repairs, Set ups etc.. I need some work done on one of my Guitars & am going to meet him on Wednesday.. If I get a good feeling about his Work I’ll have him do my repair job.. I’m thinking of offering him a fee or percentage if he would allow me to meet potential Buyers & sell my Guitars at his Shop… Is that something People do? Is it out of line? What do you all think? Need advice.. Thanks

I recently bought a USA Epiphone Casino.. A very short time later the went up$300.00… A lot of new Gibsons, Epiphones & Gretsch have gone up $300-$400… I just bought a Rupert Neve RNHP Headphone Amp that was $499.00. A week later it’s $699.00! Inflation or flat out Price gouging?
