  1. I hope so.. I have a Gibson Bozeman Masterbilt J-160E I bought in 2000.. I’ve played it more than all the other Guitars I own.. I would like to get another new one like it… I’d also like Gibson to reissue the CF-100E which is essentially a J-160E with a Florentine Cutaway…
  2. I suggested Martin as something different as opposed to adding another Spruce Top, Mahogany Back & Sides Guitar with a similar Sound to the Guitars the OP already has…. I have a wonderful Acoustic Electric Gibson Bozeman Masterbilt J-160E with P90 which, IMO, is the top sounding Round Shoulder Gibson Acoustic Guitar I’ve ever played… Spruce & Mahogany.. I also own an Acoustic Electric 1975 Martin D-35 which is a fantastic sounding Guitar but it has a totally different Sound… Spruce & Rosewood.. Now I’m considering another Acoustic Electric Guitar but something different than either of the above… I’m thinking about a Guitar with Maple Top, Sides & Back.. Or maybe one with Spruce top & Maple back & sides.. A completely different Sound than my Gibson & Martin… Best of luck with your Search…..
  3. ? I thought it was about LG-2’s & L-00’s or a different type of Guitar… My apologies..
  4. Cute little Car for the wife! Enjoy!
  5. I had one of those Guitars briefly & thought it’s sound a little on the dark side too. I didn’t bond with it & got something else.. If you’ve had it set up properly, got new Strings, adjusted Pickups & Pole piece height & have it dialed in with all controls with Guitar, Amp & Pedals you might try it different Amps… Take your Guitar to a good Music Store & compare… You might also A/B some different Guitars too.. That Guitar just might not be the one…
  6. If you want something different a great sounding add a Martin… A D-28 or D-35… Great complimentary Guitars to your already great Gibsons…
  7. It happens often when I play with really really good Musicians… I especially like it when you can tell that the Audience is feeling goose bumps as well..
  8. Maybe, but, hopefully they will be available if we need them…

  10. I bought a Tele type Guitar a few years ago from them… It was alright. Not great.. Pretty entry level IMO.. It was playable & sounded ok… What do you expect for the price? I ended up gifting it to someone. It’s nothing like my USA Fender ‘69 Thinline Tele or even my MIC Squier CV Tele… If you want something inexpensive and pretty decent get a Squier CV Tele.. It’s a much better Guitar…
  11. I don’t care for it.. I’d much rather see a reissue of a 65 Firebird VII with Maestro & all Gold hardware that is reasonably priced…. Now that would be of interest to me.. Like the one Brian Jones is playing in this YouTube…..
  12. History repeats itself… Over & over & over…. We don’t learn much…. I’m not perfect, I’m human.. I’m still obsessed with Cars & Guitars… Life is short… We’re here for a good time, not a long time.. Live your best life.. Family is everything. No Jesus, no Peace. Know Jesus, know Peace…
  13. Generally most Tube Amps can be repaired.. If you’re lucky it’s just a Tube.. Wait til your Digital Amp takes a crap….. Time to buy a new Amp.
  14. I really like Slide Guitar! Lots of great Slide Players! None are exactly alike….
  15. LOL! With Appreciation…. It’s the only Guitar I have that I would never Sell….
  16. I have a good sized Tool box with many different Guitars.. All shapes, sizes & price points.. But, for me, It’s a Guitar I’ve owned for 47 years.. My Girl friend, now my Wife, bought me a new 1975 Martin D-35.. It is a Fabulous Treasure to me.. Just like her…….
  17. Good Video example… Like playing Guitar.. You don’t always play all the Strings.. Or do you only play it one way.. Hard… Lots of Technique… Listen to Jimmy Reed & listen to George Harrison for example.. Both played Slide but they sound very different…
  18. I play in Cover Bands that play just like the Records including the same Keys… I also play in Bands that transpose to find the Vocalists voice & make their own Arrangements.. I also play in Bands that play Originals… I like doing it all as long as the Performances are top notch….
  19. Modern Country…. Quite away down the Evolution Road…
  20. A lot of Blues Players Open Tune their Guitars.. Like Open “E”.. Bar Chords are easy.. Get a Slide, a Harmonica & Neck Brace…. Start wailing all your troubles & make some noise on that Guitar, add some Slide & blow some Harmonica! Do it with Soul & that’s the Blues…
  21. Great song & I’ll bet it sounds great on a Classical Guitar.. Or this….. Fast forward to 1:21…..
  22. I have American Strats, Tele’s, Jags & Jazzmasters.. I don’t have any tuning issues that I don’t have on my Gibsons, Rics or Gretsch’s? Takes about a minute to tune.. They’re always pretty close to Pitch already.. Some are hanging on the Wall, on a Stand or in their Case….. Doesn’t seem to make much difference…. I have a Ramirez Classical I keep on a Stand in my Bedroom… I love that old Guitar & play it almost every day.. But, it can’t do what all the above Guitars can & vice versa……
  23. Yet, Surf Music is still heard & played….. LOL… It was just a song…
