Now if it was my wife's mother?
vangoghsear
Wife and dog first, then I'd be more apt to grab my Vintage Sound Amp, even though its heavier and more awkward it's pretty much the only guitar related object with any sentimental attachment for me. It's also the most expensive musical object I own. If it's got to be a guitar, it would be my Gibson Midtown Kalamazoo.

I have a considerable wingspan. all my guitars are together in my den. I could easily bundle 3 at once, and would ... (my Custom 24, Goldtop & Firebird) but I guess thats not the point huh ? lol. But that was the point I was making why I'd leave my wife's mom. She's over 350 pounds, you have to try and pull her up, she's on oxygen and needs her tank so you have to first switch her over from the oxygen machine to the tank, she can only walk a few steps then has to sit and rest a bit...we would all be toast before she could get out the door, but yes, why can't you grab several things on the way out after the wife and dog are safe? I could easily grab my Gold Top, the Mitchell 12 string and the Fender amp although the Epiphone Standard is worth more then the amp.

flyingarmadillo
I'd grab my wife and my dog. Then I'd strap a guitar on each of them and save the Guild F412, my original Alvarez dread, and the Elitist Casino.

LOL Â Lol, never thought about the dog carrying out one. We have a 100 lb. Doberman that I could strap a guitar on, the wife could care less about a guitar, she would grab her sewing machine and that would leave me to grab the GT and amp and a few more things I could carry together. I had a Doberman once at the other house that picked my son up by the back of his pants and carried him to the back door by the kitchen as to say, "Open the door kid and let's get out of the house!" Wife was gone at work and he was 4 and found her Bear guard pepper spray and sprayed a shot on the ph. book. I was outside getting the mail, came back in and smelled this horrible has that brought tears in my eyes and coughing. Grabbed a rag, covered my nose and mouth and went through the house searching for John and Bandit. He was my show Doberman and I found them outside in the back yard. Went back in, opened all the windows and waited for her to come home and we all went out to eat while the house aired out. That Bear guard is some nasty stuff.
