Rossman4
Last month, my 1969 Sunbust Deluxe was stolen in North San Diego County. I'm a bit shattered to say the least. It was bought by me brand new in '69 and was almost perfect except for a minor dent near the input jack. It was in the original rectangular case with Eric Clapton painted on it. If anyone has any info on this guitar no questions will be asked. I need my baby back!

Thundergod
I'm really sorry, and sincerely hope someone comes up with her. My only advice is to keep an eye on the local newspaper ads, pawnshops and online buy/sell portals as ebay and craiglist... Welcome to the forum. BIGBENDS
Sorry to hear the bad new, Rossman. I hope you get her back and some Justice would be nice because it could be one of our babies next. I'm going to get my Custom & Standard micro chipped.
lowb5str
... I'm going to get my Custom & Standard micro chipped. We need to start a new thread about best ways to do this....
BIGBENDS
It might be better to keep it to ourselves.
jnastynebr
I am going to give this a bump for this guy. I hope he gets her back. In my Dads giggin' days, he had one of the original melody makers stolen from at a pub. If your giggin' keep a close eye on your babies. Too many horor stories out there. rmngretsch14
I'm sure you've already reported it to the police, and look into making a claim on your homeowner's insurance, it could quite possibly be covered, of course nothing would replace yours, but it may help
Kurt
I hope you´ll get it back. It´s not just money if a guitar was with you for 40 years. Mine is only 24 but I know how familiar they become.
sok66
Really sorry to hear this, hope it's returned to you soon. There's no more helpless feeling than when something prized like your Les Paul is stolen. People that steal guitars should be chained to a pole in a city park & forced to listen to The Partridge Family's Greatest Hits.
