jannusguy2
Congrats!. Now that is the burst I am looking for on a Hummingbird now. Mapleburst???? Wow! I think Collings calls it #2 Sunburst. Their Western Shade top burst is a lot lighter but also lovely.

jannusguy2
Beautiful Collings. They do bursts really well. Is that the walnut you were eyeballing or are all 2 designations rosewood? I went with tried and true. Engleman Spruce over EIR. This was used (2008) and more than a grand less than the brand new walnut. The price and the fact that I have not played anything with walnut motivated me to play it safe. Just had a Colling itch I needed to scratch. Feels good!
