Old Deadhead
i said cream cause i couldnt vote "other" cause it would have to be Old and in the Way' date=' vassar clemetns - fiddle jerry garcia - banjo, vocals david grisman, mandolin, vocals peter rowan - guitar, vocals john kahn - standup bass[/quote'] I'm pretty sure that Tony Rice sat in on a lot of that too. By some of the above definitions, you could add the Eagles to the list, especially their later lineups with Joe Walsh and Timmy Schmidt.

SRV-Zeppelin
I also voted for Cream because you didn't include The YARDBIRDS... Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck in the same band? Come on!!!!! Clapton was also there, but not at the same time unfortunately... I think that much awesomeness in the same room would cause the universe to implode. djroge1
You older guys should know and the younger ones should learn that once David Cassidey and Shirley Jones teamed up to form the Partridge Family then all competition and thoughts of the "best" super group comes to a screeching halt. I mean how can you compare or compete against the Partridge Family? Even when the 6 Brady kids did their episode where they went into the studio and did a song/video doesn't compare... although it's close. c'mon... how can cream compete with that? Only the Jo-Bro's may one day have the power to compete...
