Same with Stevie Nicks. Today she’s 5 feet tall and 5 feet wide. But as it has been written and sung, All Things Must Pass. We can still hold on to our youth till the bitter end, if only in our memories. Yes, living in the past. None of us are what we used to be. Grace and Stevie at their peak really caused a ruckus with the dreams of young men.. 🙂 I'm not what I was 20 yrs ago, more like my avatar now. Even at my ancient station in life, I push the envelope at every chance I pick up my axe. I have always leaned on my guitars and they will still be around long after I am gone. 🙂 Edited February 2, 2020 by mihcmac

She has the classic English woman look, too. I first saw Christine McVie as Christine Perfect with Chicken Shack in 1970, in Nuremberg. She was a Hot English Woman, as part of her act she pulled her heavy piano down on top of her while continuing to play. The stage hands ran out and tried to lift it off her, thinking she was pinned, while she swatted them away. They were finally shoo'd off by Stan Webb moving his guitar kind of like a machine gun. As a matter of fact I just stared learning it last week. Got my 12'er out and everything. The Beatles liked to capo a lot. So at the end of the song did he burn her furniture or just lite a fire in the fire place? He b0ned her that's for sure, but had to crash in the tub. I guess she had no couch. If there was (as speculated) an affair that John wanted to fess up to Cynthia, then he played it down heavily in the song. In my head, he didn't make her. The song only makes sense that way. '...or should I say, she had me.' '...I sat on a rug biding my time' '...We talked until two and then she said it's time for bed' '...She told me she worked in the morning and started to laugh' He has to sleep in the bath! He doesn't even get a morning fumble. He feels more than disappointed. She teased him and laughed about it. He overreacts & burns her nice wood paneling.
