merciful-evans
I came across this and am amazed. This cruise features a lot of artists. It was Los Lobos that caught my attention, but Steve Earl, Dave Alvin etc. I would love to go. https://www.outlawcountrywest.com/lineup/

Murph
Pretty cool, but I just can't stomach Lucinda. Good to see Jim Lauderdale working. It's like he never really got his.
jdgm
I think jazz cruises started the whole thing off, in the 70s or maybe even a bit earlier. This upcoming one is stuffed with brilliant players; https://thejazzcruise.com/lineup/ The rock legends cruise: https://rocklegendscruise.com/rlc10/ There's a metal one and a Monsters Of Rock one too, but they haven't announced the line ups yet. This one is full of artists I'm not familiar with - Davey Suicide? ffs! https://www.shiprocked.com/lineup Reckon I'd be very glad to disembark at the end, whatever the music..... The covered Bertha when I saw them.

I can’t stand Lucinda either, but I have seen her twice though. Her music just grated on me now. The second time I was really high on edibles, and that made it more tolerable. Also 'Los Super 7' were great collaborations with Calexico & Texas Tornados guys. I have the 1st two albums.

Yep that was were I found out about the Latin Playboys. I have both of their albums. I love the song Mira. Mira in Spanish means "Look". The premise of the song is they are at Disneyland/World/Universe/Galaxy, what ever its called now, and the one guy keeps saying "Mira Mira Dumbo", as the they must have just seen someone in a Dumbo The Heffalump costume, and they are impressed by that fact. Sgt. Pepper
This is from Winnie The Pooh and where I got the term Heffalump. Disney always did crazy stuff in their cartoons to scare the s-hit out of kids, before it became the ultra PC, we own 2/5th of the world POS company it is now.
