Sgt. Pepper
I am not sure if the Explorer came in a Classic model. Here is the one I had. Those cases can house a family of 4. Edited September 7, 2022 by Sgt. Pepper
Twang Gang
I don't know anything about Explorers - but that little white inspection card should tell you.
mihcmac
I was lucky to find a vintage soft case from the 70's for mine, which fits easily in my small car. There are no tags on it so I don't know who made it, but there are form shaped soft cases out the ere that can be quite handy at times. That card should have a model code on it (something like DSXRDICH1). That might be decipherable.
mihcmac
Like I said, your case wouldn't fit in my car... Also I have never seen the word Standard applied to an Explorer with exception of a few custom shop models, Customs sometimes and Classic usually refers to the color like Classic White or Black. The only other descriptive word I have seen used is Reissue. Beautiful guitar though.... 1 hour ago, Sgt. Pepper said: Is luck really the right word. Sgt. Pepper
Explorers are killer. They are gigantic, and the balancing on them is killer. No neck dive at all.

If the seller is not a Gibson authorized retailer the Explorer would be considered used with no warranty.
