I think we can all get along.

Well;
I think we can all get along well enough to maintain the integrity of the community of regular posters to this Gibson web forum.

We don't have to agree on what the best cables are, right?
We don't have to agree on what are the best guitar picks or years of issue of Gibson guitars and models.

We agree to disagree on some very important points therefore.
(Cables, picks, pickups, years, models, neck radii, and tuners.)

Let's agree to disagree, therefore, on politics, senses of humor, prickly styles of responses, and irritating viewpoints.

In the end, does it really matter that some of us like vanilla ice cream over chocolate, conservatism over socialism, or 9mm over .22 magnum?
Really.

There's no point in the fighting.
It would only be interesting, after all, if the fighting were in person, and it spilled out into the street where we could all witness the mud and the blood and the knockout blow.

So.
Let's agree to disagree.
And fight in a civil manner, like gentlemen, when the fighting is necessary.

We are all entitled to our own opinions until someone who controls something has the power to decide your opinion is not valid, and they can suppress them. Sound familiar?

I will say this - I like cheese, any one with me? Or against me?

So  heres  an on topic question.

What do you think of it compared to the original.. Does it make it better or just different...

When I heard Dogs remix, I enjoyed it. Even on my PC speakers I could hear quite a lot of differences. But I am not sure it actually makes the song better? Its great either way.

Id really like to listen to it through headphones. I bet you can hear all sorts of stuff going on.

It’s not better or worse, just different. Lots of stuff that was low in the mix is now way up. Lots of Wrights keys are more clear. Gilmour’s guitar has some different stuff going on. The Lords Prayer part you can really hear. Rogs vox on POTW are without reverb. If you have an original and don’t want to spend money on it there is no need to rebuy it, but if you love this album it’s worth having. The blue ray I got has the new stereo mix, new mix in 5.1, and the original mix. The blue ray was $25. I can’t wait to hear it stoned out of my head.

Yes, its one of my favourite albums of all time... Had many a great time listening to that album in my youth including hearing it at the Pink Floyd coffee shop in Amsterdam totally off my head ...  I remember being there and enjoying it very much, but very little else  😄

Its not the same place as it used to be thats for sure  (but then, where is).. Even though I havent been back in quite a while now, I think I went about 4 times... In the early days what they had over there was amazing. They used to have competitions on who could grow the best..  The last time I went, I could pretty much get the same as we get over here and it was like that in nearly all the coffee shops. Just like everything else it became commercialised and lame (which is probably why I havent bothered going back)..  And it all changed when public tobacco smoking laws changed...

But yes..  Been to the Van Gogh museum..  Again, and probably not surprisingly I dont remember much  😄  But it was good times, I do remember that much.

I had 'Back in '72', back in the day.

Bob Seger 'Seven' was the one I liked the most.

Yeah.  A good one.  But I'm kinda partial to "Live Bullet" m'self.  Mostly because I was there on one of the nights it was recorded.  [wink]  Looking for a compilation disc that has other earlier work.  like-----

From '66

Or, from '67---
