Twang Gang
Terrible to have a NGD and not be able to share pics. Worked for me, Imgr, click copy on direct link and then paste to your post. Closest I have to a J35 - my J29 just a test.
J185cat
Nice. Always good to have at least one short scale you can bond with. They are just so much fun to play. I like the sound of the fuller neck also.
dhanners623
Congrats! Love my ‘16 J-35. Over the years I’ve owned two very good J-45s, but I’d take the J-35 over them any day of the week. I think they are very versatile guitars, more so than the J-45. Others my feel differently, of course. My only beef is aesthetic. As cool as a banner headstock is, I wish Gibson had just used the historically accurate old white script logo.
zombywoof
Cool! The bracing however, is not forward shifted. That is a Martin thing, It does have whqt Bozmean calls its AJ style bracing which has a wider angle than for lack of a better designation their standard bracing. So, your J35 shares a bracing footprint with the AJ, J45 TV and other models.

Still looks great to me and doesn't affect the sound, and separates these and makes them easy to identify what era they are from compared to other J-35 versions. Nobody’s going to confuse the J-35 reissues with the original deal from the ‘30s….
MorrisrownSal
What I miss… ps loving the hue on that sweet J29.

On a positive note, I was playing my 2015 J-35 just last night and thinking man this thing kicks a$$. Absolutely love mine.
G Man
Wow, I must have become immune, but I don't see the offensive statement in here. If you can't pee in the tall grass, best not to run with the big dogs.

I’m left-handed and play upside down. Just the way I taught myself to play. Only thing I change is the pickguard.
