You young 'uns may have no clue, but Pravda was the "official" Soviet news outlet - propaganda in other words.

Seems the propaganda folks are right on the money...

American capitalism gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

  • 2 weeks later...

Listening to the radio today, I heard ANOTHER reference to this article.

Seems most people now are too young to remember the Cold War or the old Soviet Union and have no idea there's really a difference between Capitalism and what we are sliding into now.....

Amazing.

You know, Neo, I agree that a lot of these anti American citizens we have do seem to be of an age that they don't understand that Communism has been responsible for keeping people down, murdering them, keeping them in poverty, etc.

Of course, the other reason is that we don't teach the exceptionalism of America in our schools anymore. We are taught that America is a bully. Not that we liberated Europe TWICE. Not that we put a man on the moon, have been responsible for lifting up the average person, are the most free country in the history of man.

So, to some degree, these folks can't help that they are ignorant.

Does anyone know anything about the author--Stanislav Mishin--of this piece. I find it amusing that everyone quotes this guy but nobody knows who he is. And why doesn't he write in Russian? Seems a little suspicious to me.

Although it pains me to give this prick (Mishin) any more publicity than he needs, I figured we should keep the playing field even.

I would highlight the best parts in red...but who has the time to do that?

Stanislav Mishin: Bush has reached two great accomplishments

SOURCE: Pravda.Ru (10-9-08)

[stanislav Mishin is a blogger.]

Many of Bush’s critics have voiced the opinion that Bush’s presidency has accomplished nothing and has resulted in only failures. I disagree. Quite frankly, Bush and his Neocon enablers and world wide puppets have reached two milestones previously believed unreachable. The most interesting point of both is that they were reached with little conscious thought.

In the US there is a word that was coined specifically for the 911 and Afghanistan periods: blowback. It means the unintentional consequences that beset those who do various deeds without actually contemplating what may be the results.

The first of these unbelievable Bush accomplishments resulted from his misguided and mismanaged invasion of Iraq.

The Arabs, especially the Muslim Arabs, as a race are a very fractious and suspicious people, who mistrust each other’s clans and tribes, let alone nations. Saddam Hussein, a socialist dictator with a penchant for destroying Islamics in his own domain, was of course a “prime” target for ouster by the leaders of the Axis of Hypocrisy and their Farse on Terror. The invasion of Iraq, mandated on a mutable reason that is yet to be nailed down and continues to change as needed, led to the replacement of Saddam with an set of Islamic parties and the rise of Iran as the undisputed local power. These and other blow backs were minor, of course, compared to Bush’s main accomplishment.

In one fell move, Bush was able to unite the fractious Arab street against the US, but unite them he did. At no time, not even during the Crusades, have the Muslim Arabs been so united against one enemy or series of enemies. The US/UK invasion was heavy handed failed to involve other Arab regimes, with the exception of the leadership of the absolutely corrupt Saudi and Kuwaiti monarchies.

What unfolded for America and its allies was a long and bitter and still continuing war, where the Arab street has poured in fighters from across their sphere. What was supposed to be an easy walk through, a painless victory that Neocons dreamed off, has turned out to be a massive expense and a bleeding sore that has never healed and has defined much of the Bush presidency.

Never one to take such fame and success without trying harder and proving that more could be done, Bush, his Neocons and a local puppet named Saakashvili set out to again do the impossible. Thus started the suffering of a small people in a small land named South Ossetia...

Agreed.

That war was terribly handled from the start - mostly to appease the Liberal Left in this country.

Blowback indeed.

We should have been DONE before the 2004 election' date=' with only a stabilizing force in place while the United Nations could march in like they always do and act like they were handling things.

(One truck bomb [i']near[/i] their embassy in 2003 and they hauled *** home....)

The Arabs' date=' especially the Muslim Arabs, as a race are a very fractious and suspicious people, who mistrust each other’s clans and tribes, let alone nations.[/quote']

In no other country was this more apparent than Afghanistan.

They had been killing each other for centuries until the Soviets invaded.

Once they were beat out of the country (with our Stinger missiles) they went back to work on each other - better armed.

Saddam Hussein' date=' a socialist dictator with a penchant for destroying Islamics in his own domain, was of course a “prime” target for ouster by the leaders of the Axis of Hypocrisy and their Farse on Terror. Ask yourself BlueMoon, why did Russia - along with France and Germany - so strongly resist our invasion of Iraq?

They were doing business with them, even AFTER 9/11, and making HUGE profits selling them stuff they could not buy on the open market.

Fact.

So, keep that in mind when considering the tone of the above statement.

You really think the Bush administration and the alphabet defense agencies were surprised by this?

Makes it handy when your enemy comes to engage YOU in one battlefield - creates a shooting gallery effect.

Beats having them fly airplanes into civilian targets back home, dontcha think?

Islamic fascist fundamentalists heeded the call of Jihad and flooded into Iraq - especially thru Syria.

You remember Syria - Pelosi's first trip abroad as Speaker, against the Bush administrations warnings....

:-)

What unfolded for America and its allies was a long and bitter and still continuing war' date=' where the Arab street has poured in fighters from across their sphere. [/quote']

See above. When the throw a rock at you, shoot them. When they shoot at you, mortar them.

When they fire from the "sanctity" of a Mosque, leave nothing but a deep, smoking crater.

:-)

What was supposed to be an easy walk through' date=' a painless victory that Neocons dreamed off, has turned out to be a massive expense and a bleeding sore that has never healed and has defined much of the Bush presidency.[/quote']

Don't look to ME to defend it.

Bush fxcked it up.

I'll be the first to say so.

We're in a war and he has our troops babysitting - a job even the UN could do....

This is where EVERY Liberal gets it ALL wrong EVERY time.

I'm far from a lockstep Bush-booster.

He made some bad moves and they are still costing us dearly.

The real stupidity is when it is assumed that somebody like Obama is the RIGHT person for the job.

Bush was weak in a few key areas, Obama is weak in ALL OF THEM.

I think you missed my point Neo...

It was to show that the "author" of all this material is simply anti-American. We know nothing about his and his motives. All we are doing is helping spread his propaganda.

I think you missed MY point Bluemoon...

His Anti-American propaganda is FAR more accurate, in both columns, than anything we get from the media here.

I suppose you can take the initial post apart and explain the error of it?

I kinda doubt that, that's the reason I posted it to start with.

Despite a few spelling and usage errors like Homz used to make, he's closer to the truth than ANYTHING I've seen in the mainstream media - and some of the conservative "extremist" stuff I happen to believe in with all my heart.

Wasn't it the evil Communists that captured Berlin and ultimately defeated Hitler and his Nazi thugs? I guess when we need them communists we can ignore what they did and sit and have tea with them but when the war is over its back to hating them.

It's over.

I hate to say it.

But, it's over.

Buckle up, and get ready for a bumpy ride. The systems required for things to work the way we are used to them working, aren't going to work. Meaning, the things we need on a daily basis, won't be there.

Or......

I'm wrong......

I'm having eggs. Good thing the commies like eggs too. I may even warm up a pork chop from dinner with those eggs.

How do you make gravy. Maybe I'll do some commie loving gravy.

A man that can't make gravy is truly a sad thing.

RED-EYE GRAVY

Recipe By :

Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00

Categories : Misc

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

***** NONE *****

Red-eye gravy, to those unaccustomed to the nobler things in life,

requires first a good, well-cured country ham. Smithfield and

genuine Virginia hams are ideal for this.

Take a slice of uncooked ham with most or much of the fat left on.

Fry the ham in its own fat until nicely browned on both sides. When

it is cooked, transfer the ham to a warm platter and add boiling

black coffee to the skillet, scraping to dissolve the particles that

cling to the bottom and sides.

That is red-eye gravy, which you pour over the ham and serve.

The name “red-eye gravy” (sometimes referred to as “red-ham gravy”)

derives from the fact that a circle or oval of liquid fat with a

slightly reddish cast will form on the surface of the gravy when it

is reduced. This is the “eye” of the name.
