Cruznolfart
Can you put some lube on them? Every tuning looks like it'll hurt! BTW.... just how old IS that axe? Looks like it's been around since Hector was a pup. It's a 1969 Framus Strato Golden Deluxe
Shnate McDuanus
Depends. By the way, I can't stand a black pick guard on a black Les Paul. I prefer white on black for that body type, for some reason.

Silenced Fred
Don't like gold, whatever it is on, I think nickel looks better It looks cheap and gaudy, and I am not just talking about guitar hardware, in general I feel that way. I prefer a silver color

MojoRedFoot
Do gold plated pick guards count? For me, it depends on the color of the guitar. Personally, I don't like the gold on the red LP custom. I like it on the black and white ones. It looks good on the Mary Kay Fender Strat. @ rocketman: The finish on that red LP is gorgeous! I want one w/ nickel HW.
Mr. Robot
Personally I am not a fan of gold hardware. I think it looks the opposite of classy on most guitars, with the exception of white - and of course, Californiaman's ES-
