Riffster
I learnt about this album a few years ago, to this day i feel cold/hot about it, I love some of the songs, others don't care about. The guy that introduced me to this album had never heard fo Gary, he bought it because he is a fan of Cream. I introduced Gary in his life, that's right I spread Steve's Gospel. Riffster
I do like this track although it has a lot of "White Room" vibe to me. I haven't listened to this album in like 2 years, I just realized it is not on my iPod, I'll have to dig it out.
MrNylon
White Room had a big influence on a lot of music for a while.

bluesguitar65
The entire Wheels Of Fire album [thumbup] Not to be OT, but your SG Bass on your sig is giving me GAS to get one. Im looking for a bass and that SG Bass is one I'm considering. How is it compared to the Fender Pbass?
SG FAN
I honestly liked it a lot better than I thought I would, but I still like those guys with Clapton better. Not bad though:)

MrNylon
Hey bluesguitar65; I like it over anything I've played or came in contact with in 41+ years. Had a G&L SB-2 that was pretty much a Fender P Bass with an attitude I traded in to get back with Gibson again. That was made up for my specs by G&L. Fender J and P Basses good also, but I like the SG Std. Bass. What gear would you be running it through if the GAS PAINS get to be unbearable? What would you suggest for that purpose? Gibson offers a faded SG bass, how is that compared to the standard SG bass? I got interesed on the SG Bass after seeing this video of Free. Andy Fraser is an excellent bass player.
FirstMeasure
Doesnt Baker complain about Moore? Doesn't Baker complain about Bruce, too? OT I like Moore in small doses, but I really like those small doses.

MrNylon
Years ago in Cream they had a genuine hatred for each other. I think they have gotten their issues settled.
MrNylon
The Faded and Heritage are the same as far as pups, neck, fretboard, body wood, solid case, and tuners. Heavier nitro finish, trapezoid inlays, and mother of pearl on the head are on the Heritage. Sound wise I believe they sound the same. Might be a slight difference on the feel of the action of the back of the neck. One glossed, other not. A great bass for stage or studio. I used Mesa for a while, and came back to the Marshall MB Series.
FirstMeasure
I suppose he complained about life in general. He's just an old Codger, but that's what makes him so uncompromising and original. I think it was after Bruce had his bad illness that they made up.

I hate for this to be another chance to share my worship of Chris Poland, but this is Baker's son drumming, with Chris Poland, did I mention Chris Poland yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNb8TYvw9Jw
