atolleter
1981, I believe the switch is a phase mod. I play mostly Strats so I dont know much about LP mods, maybe I should return it to original.

BigKahune
Welcome Beautiful Custom - nice burst. Congrats! If you like the phase switch, leave it in. Nice mod job, done so it could be returned to the original setup. No extra holes. Smart.

DiamondJig
Nice ! If your handy change out the switch for a push/pull pot that can do the same and restore the orig look
atolleter
Thanks guys, I bought it because the mod didnt alter the body. Actually after listening more carefully it seems to be a coil tap on the bridge PU because the switch is more noticeable when the bridge PU is on by itself. Sorry, only plugged it in once. I thought it could even be a factory install but after opening the control cavity I see it is was not although it was carefully done.

atolleter
Yea, they're all on Flickr, here you go: I dont know what that mark is by the PU control switch, I thought it was a repair but the wood grain is the same under there, could it be a stain of some kind?
