zigzag
I'm sure this has been done before, but which bands would you rate as the most underrated Rock'n'Roll bands you know? Mine are out of the '70s and I'd say Pablo Cruise or the Outlaws.
NeoConMan
I would agree on both counts. Never saw PC, but some friends of mine did. Said they were on of the tightest, best-mixed shows they ever saw - outside at a racetrack. Yeah, I dunno. So many. Early nineties - blues rockers like Cry Of Love, Brother Cane and Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies.

Big Bill
Boston........... they should be in the rock n roll hall of fame I wouldn't say Boston is under-rated as much as that there time has come and gone. In the mid to late 70's Boston was one of the highest rated bands.
AXE®
Early nineties - blues rockers like Cry Of Love. We beat them in the Battle of the bands.
NeoConMan
GET THE FxCK OUTTA HERE!!!! Seriously? Axe, I stand in awe.... Tell us the story. Boston........... they should be in the rock n roll hall of fame Yeah' date=' here's that eternal argument.... Tough to say[b'] Boston[/b] is under rated. Being old enough to be learning my chops when they first came out, I can tell you they were HUGE! Second album (Don't Look Back) made them even more so. Then came the protracted court battles that kept them from issuing any new music for nearly a decade. Didn't slow them down a bit, their music was still all over the radio until rap crap started to dominate all the music outlets - including MTV. Thank you, Aerosmith, for your self-serving collaboration with Run DFN and the resultant music genre.... Then they did another album in 1986, yielded more huge hits. The market was there, the concert tickets sold out, the music was on the radio - still is to this day. To say they deserve a spot in the Rock n Roll hall of fame is fair, but that whole thing is a joke. What was that old line - Groucho Marx? "Any club that would have me, I wouldn't be a member of..." Screw the Hall of "Fame" or whatever some morons doing the nominations decide.

NeoConMan
Yeah, I saw them a couple times in the late nineties. Well past their heyday, but a great three man show.
AXE®
GET THE FxCK OUTTA HERE!!!! Seriously? Axe' date=' I stand in awe.... Tell us the story. [/quote'] They were called Khaos at the time. Kelly Holland on vocals and Audley was not with them at the time. Kelly split and hooked up with a band called The Point and they went HUGE locally. Got a deal in LA. And the producer fired him. He got a call from Muscle Shoals from some fellas in the studio. Audley Freed. Jason Patterson and Bob Kearns. And viola' Cry of Love. I knew Kelly when he was painting houses on a local resort island. He fell off a ladder broke his leg and still went on stage. He's a hell of a drummer also. NeoConMan
Yeah, Great White... I've posted about those guys before. They got caught up in the hair band thing and then got spit out of the machine when grunge took over. Great bluesy band on record, live show was so much more. Saw 'em half a dozen times, met 'em all, spoke with Mark Kendall for an hour one night. Good guys.
