cookieman15061
Well took a few days off so the wife and I could drive up see the 7th wonder of the world. My parents took me when I was 7 years old so its been about 43 years since my last visit and it's still as awesome as I remember. Stayed on the Canadian side and we had a blast. Plenty of great food and music and the waterfall ain't to shabby. Thanks to our neighbors over the border for a great time. Cookie

Tim Plains
I love the falls. Only problem is my wife doesn't like going with me anymore because I always end up at the casino for 2 - 3 hours.

I don't think I've ever lost money faster than than I did on this trip. My wife won 100 bucks though.
deepblue
Casinos dont interest me. Its all about the odds, and odds are you will lose. I can teach you how to gamble in a much simpler fashon......Take a $50 bill, crumple it up, and toss it out the car window.....repeat if necessary. You get the same result at a Casino. So for me it's just a couple of bucks and I'm on my way. Besides every dollar lost is a dollar that could go to another guitar. I have an uncle that has literally lost tens of thousands on horse betting then complains that he doesn't get enough from the government to live on in retirement. I tried to make him see that if that money would have been invested wisely........
pohatu771
Those people who lost money playing horses have been supporting my family for four generations. I thank you for your contributions.

Tim Plains
I don't gamble - I play Texas Hold'Em and walk out ahead 9 times out of 10.
Riffster
I don't gamble - I play Texas Hold'Em and walk out ahead 9 times out of 10. I have always tried to explain this concept to friends unsuccessfully, lets say you have 49% odds, the real difference if you know when to walk away. Casinos have deep pockets and all the time in the world, gamblers don't.

cookieman15061
Hey H.C. I didn't really have a chance to scout out any guitar stores but plenty of live music all over the place. We had a great time and I thought 3 days would be plenty but we weren't ready to leave. Former Eagle Don Felder will be there in August and I'd love to go back and check him out. Have a great time.
