Suho
Well, I am not including my Elitist, because I don't think they are a fair comparison. I would have to say my '97 blonde Sheraton II, but I recently got an Emperor Regent that is smoking. Still, I haven't played it long enough to call it my favorite. fc4cdf
For me it depends on the sound I want but my Wildkat is the most comfortable Epi. I hardly play my Popa Chubby V. The action is not comfortable and the P90's don't sound good.
Sheik Yerbouti
Alot of votes for Casino, the only Epi I've ever owned is my new Dot Studio and I love it. I've played the Casino in a couple stores and it's got the best feel of any guitar I've ever played or touched. Haven't got a chance to try the Casino elitist or the Revolution, does it 'feel' any different, I am guessing the sound would be improved.
Notes_Norton
That is a tough choice' date=' but my favorite Epi to play is my '65 Limited Edition G-400 with Maestro.<...>[/quote'] Does the "handle" on the Maestro get in the way of the pickup switch? I tried a used Gibby SG in a Sam Ash store a long time ago, and the handle wouldn't clear the pickup switch. Just curious. BTW your axe is very nice looking. PJ
I've played some Casinos I liked, some I didn't. PLayed a Joe Pass last week that was perfect in every way. Like a Lucille I played a while back. Most of the Epiphones I've played have been very nice. I think they've gotten a lot better of late. I find the China factory production to be the best finish, fretwork and overall quality I've seen in a long time.
Biff Velvet
There was a Epi Zakk Wylde I handled in a shop once, it was the neck that stood out to me.
Syrma
Mine is nice, but my mate bought an Epi LP standard in a really bad state about 6 years ago... full overhaul on it, incl new fingerboard and frets, is an absolute joy to play....
Big Norm
My Les Paul Ultra is now my main guitar for gigs...It replace an American Fender Deluxe HSS Stratocaster. I never looked back since I'm playing with my Ultra. I should mention that the size of the neck and the fact this is an empty body make it sound near a Strat, in better IMHO. I had two Les Paul Classic and a Les Paul Custom before, but can't get use of the neck dimension and shape. This Ultra is what got the nearest to a Strat neck, and make me very happy. I played Strat for 15 years before that Ultra came to this world...and I'm a new Epiphone unconditionnal. I think the ULTRA will take a lot of Fender fans... if they can know about it. charlie brown
I only have 3 Epi's (USA "Sheraton," Vintage (Kalamazoo) '66 "Casino," and a Korean made "Riviera") LOVE them all! How's that, for a non-committal committal?! ;>) CB

tom_newton2001
Where'd you find that strap? I want one! Isn't it beautiful. Come on now, be honest. The guy I bought the Vintage Grovers off of had just lost his job. That was why he was selling the tuners in the first place. Then he found out I was a Lennon fan. Apparently, 10 years ago they had some re-issue or something and he bought it for 130 bucks. And a few weeks ago he sold it to me for that same amount. You can't find that thing anywhere. Nice though, right?
MarxBros
Most of the semi hollows I've found to be nice, the solid bodies leave much to be desired for my tastes. Probably a Joe Pass if I'm forced to choose 1.
FloyDZeD
Probably the Ultra II.
