o8jedi
Richard William Wright 1943-2008 He may never have touched an guitar, let alone an Epi, but the world is just that much sadder now that Pink Floyd keyboardist Rick Wright has succumbed to cancer today. Shine on, Rick. Say "Hi" to Syd for us.

Just Strum
This is popping up on a lot of forums. A true contributor to the music world. I made a comment in one of the other forums that I think holds true for so many artist that pass away. With the body of work that they leave behind, they never really leave us. Their work will be heard on the radio, our i Pods, our CD players, and yes, our turntables. While they never will release a new recording, we have their past recordings and the sounds of the thousands that they influenced over the years with those recordings. Richard was a remarkable individual that was a member of a remarkable band. Now he has joined the ensemble of those that left before him. And in rock fashion, raise a toast to the contributor.
