taxman
I have had a Casino for about two years and love the thing. Then Epiphone came out with these Inspired By Lennon Casinos at a reasonable price. The fiends! They forced me to buy one! Yesterday I got one in natural for a really good price. Haven't really taken her for a ride yet, but I have noticed she plays beautifully and she is LOUD! Much louder than my other Casino. I know it is absolutely nuts to buy two of the same guitars. I know it's nuts. But I have flatwound strings on my burst Casino and roundwounds on my new one. They really do play and sound like two very different guitars. I enjoy the differences.
Fantana
Those rotten buggers at Epiphone trying to make people buy guitars.............. Oh well, I guess you'll just have to live with it :P HNGD
Anthony_JB
Ain't it the truth. :P Happy New Guitar Day to you, man! I've been wanting to pull the trigger on one but I can't justify it yet because I too have one Casino already! I'm looking to get something with humbuckers like an SG. But hey! Wouldn't hurt to have another Casino!
taxman
I can't justify it yet because I too have one Casino already! Yeah, I know it is a frivolous purchase if one already has a Casino. But I do have to say that Epiphone made things different enough on these Inspired By Casinos so that I would buy it. The better pickups, the gold tuners, the natural un-shiny finish, the case included, the better wood, all that priced at a decent price made the purchase a little less nuts. Markwell
It looks like a Les Paul, Duo Jet and Thinline Telecaster were thrown together. I quite like it, though.
midiman56
Heh ... this came up just a couple of days ago on another thread ... The "gentleman" in none other than Unknown Hinson, the self-proclaimed "King of Country Western Troubadores". He is a performing artist, Billy Bob Thornton side-man, and the voice of Harley on the Cartoon Network Adult Swim show, "Squidbillies"! The guitar he's holding is his signature guitar from the clever folks at Reverend Guitars. http://www.reverendguitars.com/reverend/guitars/bolt_on_series/unknown_hinson_signature.html ...and here's Unknown doing one of his tunes: Jim
