Silenced Fred
Another Bonamassa? Man, this guy's turning out to be worst than Slash... Everyone's jumping on the bandwagon. For some reason, the blues has made a huge revival, and it pisses me off. Everyone now "plays" it, just because its the new in thing.
Andre S
Another Bonamassa? Man, this guy's turning out to be worst than Slash... Whoa! Slash has had way more than these.....including Custom Shop and USA versions of the same guitar. So far JB has had two Custom Shop Les Pauls, which are the Goldtop and the Bonaburst and now an Epiphone version of the Goldtop. Plus he said it was because of the kids that asked him about one. Keeping impartial though.....how true that is will probably never be surely known.
Andre S
I rather like the Amber LP with the Bigsby I saw him play on the Albert Hall DVD. I think he said that was a '59 RI or something that he didn't really use and they (Bonamassa and his tech) put a bigsby on it.

That's kinda sounds right. It's a really nice look LP. Thanks.
Andre S
That's kinda sounds right. It's a really nice look LP. Thanks. If you're interested in hearing it, he uses it to play Last Kiss. I don't think he uses it for much else.

ShredAstaire
Blues bandwagon? Who cares? The more great players, the better! If they are not great, move on....very simple! :)
Andre S
Joe was involved in the blues from very young. I believed BB King allowed him to open for him when Joe was around 12. And he was helped along by Danny Gatton.
Silenced Fred
Yep. Dan Auerbach...Jack White... Yeah Nathan, everyone's jumping on the "blues" bandwagon. I don't get the point of this... Are you saying that I don't know blues? I'm not saying the people on this forum. 5 years ago, say the name Joe Bonamassa to a room ful of people. A handful might know him. Now try the same thing. A much larger handful will know him.
